Cultural History Research
The aim was to record the cultural and social memory of the historical peninsula, which is the meeting point of different ethnic identities, and to conduct a digital archive study. In the project, which was attended by young people between the ages of 18-29, young people conducted interviews with the local people of Fatih and recorded a forgotten historical artifact or tradition that only the local people knew. Within the scope of the project supported by the "Elele" Dialogue for Change through Culture and Art program; various workshops were organized for young people to conduct oral history studies.
Art Therapies - Interviews
This project was carried out in collaboration with Küçükçekmece Municipality. The main theme of the talks supported by the Art History Research Association was determined as "Art Therapy". The positive effects of art on the social health and psychological well-being of individuals through various disciplines such as drama, dance, creative writing, and painting were discussed. The talks emphasized how art can be used for therapeutic purposes and its contributions to society.
Cultural History Talks | World War II and Cinema
Organized in collaboration with Kadıköy Municipality and the Art Historians Association. The focus of the seminars was the effects of World War II on cinema and the reflections of the war period on the cinematic perceptions of different countries. The psychological and ideological effects of the war were examined and discussed through selected films.
Istanbul's Art History is Written by High School Students
The main purpose of the project, which was implemented with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, was to help high school students in Istanbul discover the city's rich cultural heritage and raise awareness of protecting this heritage. As part of the project, students were given the opportunity to closely examine and research historical artifacts in the neighborhoods they lived in. Each student visited the historical structures in their own neighborhood, conducted detailed research on these structures, gathered information, and shared their observations. The compositions written by the students were brought together and published in a book called "My Neighborhood Art History."
Another important component of the project was the art education and workshops given to the students.
Art Therapies- Expressionism
In the Dance Therapy Expressive Arts Therapy talk, it was explained how artistic expression methods such as drama/theater, dance/movement, creative writing (poetry, story, etc.), story-telling, painting, sculpture, photography affect change and development in individuals in a combined and integrated manner.
Commemoration Program for Mimar Sinan: About Sinan
It was realized with the contributions of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. The aim of the program is to introduce the works and heritage of Mimar Sinan and to keep his memory alive. In the event organized in the format of exhibition and talk, important works of Mimar Sinan were exhibited and introduced to the visitors. In addition, documents and sketches from Sinan's period were exhibited and discussions on architecture were held.
We Are Flying Towards Tomorrow "I'm Talking With Art"
The project was carried out in collaboration with the Support Foundation for Civil Society and Pegasus Airlines. The project aims to provide art education opportunities to disadvantaged children . Within the scope of this project, which extends from Istanbul to Mardin, Art workshops were organized with students at Gürmeşe Primary School and students were given the opportunity to create works of art. In addition, students were informed about the power of art and art movements and the works they produced were exhibited in the school.

The seminar focused on the cultural and architectural development of Ankara after the Republic period. The seminar included discussions on Ankara's contributions to national architecture, architectural and cultural changes, memory and city identity.
"The Approach of Sultan Abdulhamid II to Art on the 100th Anniversary of His Death" Program
This is a cultural event organized to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the death of Sultan Abdulhamid II. The program was organized to understand Sultan Abdulhamid II's approach to art and the role of art in social life. The topics of supporting art, protecting artists and encouraging artistic production during the reign of Sultan Abdulhamid II were discussed. The program aimed to emphasize his contributions to the art and cultural life of the Ottoman Empire by examining in detail the art policies of his period and his relationship with artists. This event provided an opportunity to evaluate the art understanding of the past from a contemporary perspective by focusing on a historical period.
